Measuring systems
FMK-007 measuring car performs track geometry and vehicle dynamics measurements in several Central European countries. It is not self-propelled, it was built in Hungary in 2001 with the reconstruction of an IC wagon.
The measurement results – in case of both measuring systems - are available for the customer in print and in electronic form immediately after the completion of the measurement, for which section data and
GNSS coordinates are ordered by the measuring system. An office system helps to display, further evaluate and analyse the measuring results.
Technical data:
Length: | 26,4 m |
Axle load: | 14 t |
Max measuring speed: | 160 km/h |
The track geometry measuring system is non-contact, in other words the measurement results are provided by the laser measuring units attached to the bottom of the wagon, or by the inertial unit.
The measuring system is also capable providing alignment and longitudinal level (sinking) diagrams on distortion free base and on original or on any chord base. The cross section is determined with the inertial unit. The twist can be calculated for different bases.
Measured track geometry characteristics:
- Gauge
- Cross level /superelevation/
- Twist
on 5 different bases
- Longitudinal level /sinking/
on original or on any chord, and in D1 or D2 wavelength range
- Alignment
on original or on any chord, and in D1 or D2 wavelength range
- Gauge-changing
on any base
- Average-gauge
on any base
- Curvature
- Twist-differences
on 5 different bases
- Longitudinal level /sinking/ moving standard deviation
on any base
Main services:
- Measuring graphs - different measuring limits with objects
- List of local defects – taking into account different measuring limits
- General track condition judgment measuring and qualification numbers – at any length
The vehicle dynamic measurement is based on the results of the 24 accelerometer sensors installed on different places of the vehicle.
Its purpose is to quantify the additional accelerations and forces awakening in the track vehicle system and acting on the passengers passing over track defects.
Vehicle dynamic parameters:
Safety characteristics:
- Derailment safety
- Supplementary derailment safety
- Track safety
Track load characteristics:
- Vertical track overloading
- Vertical rail overloading
- Transverse force acting on the track
Comfort characteristics:
- Lateral dynamic comfort
- Vertical dynamic comfort
- Quasi-static lateral comfort
- Uncompensated lateral acceleration
Main services:
